VINTAGE BUTTONS...NOW CLIP ON EARRINGS!
Hello! Here are some pictures of a few vintage buttons that I turned into cute clip on earrings. These were so fun and easy to make. I used pliers (to remove the shank) and a hot glue gun to fashion these vintage buttons into flirty clip ons.
Did you know?
The earliest use of the button dates back to 2,000 BC.
King Louis XIV spent $6 million on buttons during his reign.
The button hole was not invented until sometime in the 13th century.

BASKETBALL WIVES...?
Hello! So, I have to admit, one of my guilty pleasures is watching the scripted train-wreck-of-a-show: Basketball Wives. Yes, after you wade through all of the rehearsed steps of the fights and the ignorant high school cliques and fighting, you can really find inspiration for creating great jewelry. This is a pair of earrings that I custom made for a friend that upped the class factor and made them a little more casual with dare I say: less glitz and glam than your typical BBall Wives Hoops.
CROCHET + JEWELRY = AWESOME!!!!
Hello! Ok, so who knew my two favorite hobbies (crocheting and jewelry making) could be combined to make a glitz and glam netted creation! You guys can not even begin to know how excited I am about this. Here is a look at my first attempt. You will definitely see more of this technique in posts to come. You can look forward to crocheted earrings, rings, necklaces, and more bracelets. Woohoo!
TURQUOISE
Hello again, sorry for the mini hiatus. I'm back now with more beautiful handmade masterpieces. Lol! These rings were inspired by a beautiful eye catching ring worn by Beyonce while she was on vacation in St. Barts. Here are three rings I handmade using gold, silver, and copper jewelry wire and a turquoise stone and a couple of round turquoise beads.
The round turquoise beads are set in copper and silver. The turquoise stone is set in gold jewelry wire.

NOT YOUR GRANNY'S CLIP ONS!
I know, its hard to believe these hip chic hoops are clip on earrings, but its true! These are not your Granny's clip ons. I custom made these for my friend Dana. Dana, like many others, was extremely depressed by the lack of style and variety in the clip on earring market. Saddened by Dana's frustration with having to wear the the best of the 80's on her ears every time we went out, I executed a plan to breakthrough her 1980's door knocker house party earrings and fashion some new hot 21st century earrings. As you can see, my mission was successful. And there will be more to come....
FIRE!
This is a Fire Opal ring that I remixed. I used a stone from an old broken ring and created a new band and used a free style wire wrapping technique to attach the Fire Opal to the band. The color of this stone is absolutely striking! If you really look closely, you can see the fire in the stone.
